Been reading a couple of posts on here about guys that are involved with high school fishing. I've been getting Mountain Brook started the last few weeks and its cool to see this thing taking off. The kids are loving it.

Seemed like Wheeler was pretty tough for a lot of boats but luckily we were able to get on some fish. Sylacauga came in first with 14.8 and our kids came in 2nd with 12.9. 88 boats involved...pretty cool to see all these young uns out on the water

Anybody going to be at Logan in a couple of weeks?

How does it work? Are they forced to have an adult with them? I can't imagine 14-18 year olds flying around on bass boats. LMAO!

Been here long enough to go from "bring 'da pain" to " bring 'da pain meds.

It was lots of fun this weekend, we qualified our 4th boat for the state tournament. The water was rough, lots of trash floating, preventing boats from getting to there desired spots, but still good. I can't wait for the State Championship.

We will also be at Logan Martin too, hoping to get the last boat qualified.

And yes, an adult has to be in every boat to run the gas motor. Good luck to all the other teams and Go Hayden.

To God Be The Glory!

i fished the high school tourney last year. pretty fun stuff. me and my partner from stanhope finished 9th in the championship. it was on logan martin also. Since we graduated last year, my partner is fishing with AUM but my school doesn't have a team.
