Add dual exhaust to the list as well..... I'm so tired of my dual exhaust I can't stand it. And mine is relatively "normal" dual exhaust. not especially loud, normal size tips, etc. Wish I had factory exhaust back but I'm too cheap to pay for it Yeah I'm no fan of twice pipes either. Unless the vehicle is fast as hell

The weight distribution is the same either way, don't matter if it's lowered or jacked up.. now if he had a 1200 lb load of lime in the bed he would hook up

We did all kinds of "stuff" in the late 80's too. As long as somebody else's daddy is paying for it, who cares. I had a mullet, reebok's with the big tongues, lots of chrome stripes, saw blade rims, mtx speakers with a big amp, acid wash jeans, jams, guess jacket, cb with wilson whip antenna, big kickers, who knows what else. Kids will be kids with fads.

I once saw a 3-4 year old Chevy dually that had been lowered. Had a stupid paint job and one of those hard bed covers.
What is the use of having a truck capable of pulling >13k and doing that to it?
I love my country, but don't trust my government.

What is the use of having a truck capable of pulling >13k and doing that to it? well, I mean, I'm sure it would still pull it

So, if you put a 10# book on a level coffee table, over the front legs, most of the weight rests on the front legs. But, if you take that same coffee table, and raise the front of it 15 degrees, leave the book in the same place, a portion of that weight has been diverted to the rear legs. Imagine trying to set that book on the coffee table with the front legs extended more than the back. The book would want to slide towards the back correct? That is the force being diverted to the rear. And yes, it transfers a portion of that weight to the rear, depending on the angle, and position of the book.

I was trying to come up with an analogy. Please correct me, if raising one end of a plane, that is supported at two points, does not transfer some portion of weight to the lower support point on the plane.... because it does.
