Because there's nothing I like more than a sweet hungry water snake in my swimming hole.

And what, pratell is the "problem" with this scenario? Is a little water snake going to take the lives of their family and pets in their sleep? rofl

And if the snake is "dealt" with what does that accomplish? Now there is NOT a cool snake that lives on the pond that you can interact with in a neat way the same as any wild deer or turkey you dont intend to shoot while hunting?

please elaborate.

I'm not an anti snake guy and have a snake that lives in my barn we could go find right now. He does not eat out of my hand though. What about when it gets mad and bites that kid and he gets a good infection? I'll admit it was cool to watch on the video, but I would introduce that snake to the shotgun. Just one guys personal opinion.

1) snakes dont experience emotion. They neither "get mad" or have the capacity to retaliate. They only know fight or flight.

2) if the kid gets bit he or his parents made a mistake, not the snake. Also the kids annoying so he probably deserves it.

3) it wont get infected. On the off 1 in a million chance that it does, a little topical and some antibiotics and he will be fine. Not worth killing an animal over.

4) the kid deserves it, he's annoying.

At first all I could think was look at that nasty thing appear and dissappear in the water. The other things I thought were,
I wonder if I could use that 2x4 on the ladder to smash it's head on the dock. Then I thought I would make that plant he keeps hiding in look like chopped lettuce when the shotgun blasts started. I also thought, the dock does not look terribly new and could stand to be rebuilt, so if possible I could use a frog gig and stick the snake on the dock then burn the whole thing down. But that's just me thinking.
