Just started trapping yesterday and caught a fox overnight! Question is, how in the hell do y'all get your rebar stakes out of the ground easily. Whats the best way to get the stake out of the ground? I used a shovel and dug around it and finally got it out, but there has to be a better way.

F&T makes a tool for it. The best thing to use is a railroad spike puller! BUT those tools are hard to find. Check out Fox Hollow Bullets with chain at F&T Trading Post online. YOU will like them much better = trust me I use to use rebar stakes years ago grin

Heavy duty stake puller from F&T 25 dollars. Worth every cent.

My son made one out of an old sledge hammer. Welded a coupe of rail road spike looking pieces to the head. Looks sort of like a big claw hammer. Works great. I use it like pulling a nail out of a board

I use disposable stakes and made a puller that ought to work on rebar stakes as well. It looks kind of like the one in this video.

Video should start at the point where he is pulling the stake, but if it doesn't it's at 4:52

Twist it with a biggest set of vice grips you can find and it will come out.

I also keep a farm jack with me. Other than the jack being heavy it works real good. You can pull a fence post with it so the stake isn't much challenge.
