Well its been a while since I've logged on.
I had enough of my job and resigned from my position as a supervisor last month. Put my house up for sale and it sold in 18 days!!!!
My wife told me she had a surprise for me when I returned from business in Chicago, I was expecting something exciting and it was..... She is pregnant with our 3rd child, despite nursing and being on birth control.
Moved back home to Mobile and found out my mother has stage 4 liver cancer and is expected to survive a year or less. We moved into my cousins mother in law suite (900 sq ft) with our 2 small kids while we are waiting for our home to be built since we could not agree on a house to buy and we wanted to be outside of Mobile.... I'm hoping the home building process will be pretty painless as I'm going to be spending as much time with my mom as possible and I'd like to be moved in by the time #3 gets here. I'm trying to stay as positive as I can but its tough thinking about losing mom. Its's time to really make time count from now on...Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
Oh yea, I bought an ex-mark zero turn mower today!

Look at the positives: Your previous hard work provided you the means to quit a job you hated and still be able to move closer to your mom so you can spend precious time with her. On top of that you are being blessed with another child and a new house for this child to come home to.
I didn't take your post as complaining, I just saw a lot of positives in it.
