YES sir. i use mrs wages pickling spice from walmart. put in extra red pepper and peppers bc i like mine a little spicy. Seal off put in fridge for 24 hours then enjoy

I do not know a recipe either but Wickles also makes fine pickles. I love the Talk O' Texas pickled Okra

I'm interested to hear the update on the homemade pickled okra. I wouldn't mind making some myself if it turns out well.

The batch I made using the kosher pickle mix from Wal-Mart that I mentioned above turned out great. My family ate 10 pint and half jars in 2 weeks. Be sure and use the small tender pods. Some of the bigger ones that I though were tender enough to fry were too tough after being pickled.
