over the past 20 plus years I have used alot of different rests , had a qad when they first came out and had some problems with it so maybe the hdx modles are more dependable?

I have a QAD HDX. I like the way you can lock it in place to hold the arrow. The rest is too noisy for me. I may got back to a TM hunter type rest.

Is the Lock Down model of the Ultra Rest necessary compared to the Ultra Rest Hunter model that does not have the lock down option?
Or do they just add that in order to double the price tag?

Also wondering about the Lockdown ^^^ Currently using a Whisker Biscuit that came with the bow. Looking at the Ultra Rest, but curious about the Trophy Ridge Revolution, Anybody tried one of those?
