This is about at we got to work with on Wedowee. But about 3 more weeks and it's gonna be right. You got to put that jig under the dock, through them small holes. And it needs to go all the way to the back. In his bedroom. water temp is 85-87 still warm

That's a good looking dock to shoot. Slim chance I'd make it under there, but I'd beat it to death trying. Same here! I can hear me bouncing lead off of it.
One day the right woman will come along and the next thing you know you'll be wearing her underwear!

aight....one of y'all give me the dumbed down version of what, exactly, it means to "shoot docks". I mean, I get that you're trying to get the jig way up under there, but how do you go about actually doing it?

You hold the jig in your hand, bow up the rod, them shoot the jig under the dock. Do this with a spinning rig. Takes a little time to learn, kinda time fliping.

yep. I let the jig fall to about 2/3 of the way down my rod, pinch the line coming off the reel with your right hand like you would to cast. I grab the jig with my left hand on the head and pull it back until my rod bows, generally the jig ends up around level with the reel seat. Let the line go when you flick the jig, point your rod tip where you want the jig to land. I find it is a good technique for casting a jig anytime I don't have a lot of casting room. I don't often have to shoot under docks that low though.

No doubt that I could aim one under that triangle to the left of the light and get a good hook set on that yellow square tube up there.
