I don't know about that drum - but my uncle used to raise hogs commercially, and he'd get the drums from either Jiff or Peter Pan for free, when they didn't meet their quality control. The drum was stamped - NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION (it actually was good though). He'd feed it to their pigs.
