Mine have been planted for 2 weeks. The oats were about an inch high and the clover was just above ground. Most of the plots were pretty full except where the hogs had rooted. Now we are hunting hogs and reseeding some spots.

I have 1 small plot left, and I'm done. Try to get it in the ground tomorrow.

On another note, I think the guys before us planted gulf ryegrass. We had a strong stand of ryegrass come up with the plants we planted. I hope its thin enough to not out compete my clovers, brassica, and oats. I will have to address this early in the spring.

My Dallas County plots are planted but it is still too early for ours here in Baldwin county IMO. If we had better soil down here it would be ok but the lime leaches out of our ground too quickly.

I spent 10 hrs getting mine planted. I'll be sick if we miss the rain.

Dark, heavy moisture clouds are still coming out of the Gulf down here headed north, but the forecast doesn't look as good now as it did early this morning. We planted today west of Troy, but I don't know if we are going to get a good rain or not.

Got a very good soak yesterday!!!! I hope it was not too much to wash it to the low spots! We covered it a little deeper than normal this time since we mixed in some winter peas with them this year. But, I hope things are sprouting soon!
