Ok , so here's the deal , my buddy and I wanted to find a small lease for just us and spouses, while looking was referred to a large lease with only 2 other guys from a family friend , in total there would be 4 members on 900 plus acres was informed by the other 2 members they did not want to add more people (us) but financial means they needed to . We were told they wanted minimal guest which was okay by us if any guest would only be our wifes, in return the only guest they were bringing would be one guest each would be children, now after this passed weekend of checking cameras , we found several people on our property, when questioning other two members, they said that the pictured guys were friends of there's and they were given permission by them, now I have tendency to blow up very easily but before I do that in am the new guy on there lease I paid equal share and have equal rights to say I'm against this but could you give me some advice on making things fair, or should I finish the year out and look elsewhere?

Tatsoul, that thought has crossed my mind just a kick in the mouth because I went against my better judgement buying in, that's why my buddy and I wanted a lease to ourselves to stay away from these issues and drama I was being sarcastic but yes.it seems like the longest standing members will always have entitlement and bed the rules a little in there favor.just the way it is and u gotta accept it.nothing you say or complain about will change a thing.will only make u look like an asshole and turn them against you even if your right. I would just let it go,hunt as much as you can and shoot everything that is abided by the club rules.if club rules are state law than have fun. First question I ask any club is do you have limits on does or bucks,and do u have a problem with someone who hunts alot.now rules might change when u start dragging em into camp but just do what u gotta do.

I re read your post again and I think your gonna get screwed.them guys got your money and are gonna look for any reason to throw u out or ask you not to come back.I think they just took your money to help offset there cost of the property and get some of there money back,but they are gonna invite all there friends and buddies.you and your friend would be way better off getting your own lease.
I would strongly suggest you dont tell tem what u killed or post pics on facebook.pretend like you don't know jack crap about hunting and DO NOT tell them you killed any deer.
If your from Florida or any surrounding state,take my advice.
Pretend like u don't know where any of the stands or plots are.act dumb and act like you only know the front 40 .
Don't tell them.you put out any cameras even if you only check em at night and park 300 yards from where they are at and walk in to get them.it won't matter they will say or think your checking them every day.
Carry zip.lock bags and a knife with you.if you kill a deer cut him up in the woods and pack him out.if they know your killing there valuable resource that you helped pay for there gonna get upset.
And lastly DO NOT bring a big buck out of the woods.this is the deal breaker especially if they have the deer on camera and have been after it.if they know you killed that deer you are screwed.especially if it has a split ear and the head hanchos have been after it.if you have to bring the buck into camp use a hammer and knock the tines back to make it look like crap.it's ok cause you can glue em back on later.

I would not say a word and stay off the property opening weekend of both bow and gun season just to give them a fighting chance. After that I would Tatsoul the hell outta that place and find my own lease next year.

We have no written rules other than a pin board which I'm for, and we are going by state guide lines for taking game, I personally just shooting couple of does for meat for the freezer, and try not to take a buck unless he's a mounter , my biggest worry is my buddy and I live in Florida and they live local to the property so I can't even govern much from my house , I will confront both members on this due to its won't be able to keep my mouth shut on the issue and I definitely will be there opening archery and rifle You should see what happens if your not happy with it kill everything in site and move on....that's how us fl folk do chit.
