Ben2 and Spear em with Motivated Movers along with help from ArtisticWhitetails have been gracious enough to offer up two very nice prizes for our youth contest this year. The grand prize will be a shoulder mount and the second place prize will be a European mount both done by ArtisticWhitetails.

Here are the rules:

1. Contest is for youth season only, ages 15 and under for deer taken on Nov. 13, 14, 15 and 16th.
2. A pic along with details of the kill must be posted in this thread by midnight Nov. 16th.
3. The lucky hunter along with their deer must be in the photo.
4. Buck Only
5. The deer's head must still be attached to the body.
6. The following picture (the actual pic, no hand written signs) must be held up by the lucky hunter and be fully visible. If you do not have this pic visible in the kill pic, you will not be entered into the drawing.




7. The date of the kill must be written at the bottom of the Motivated Movers pic and visible in the photo.
8. The top two prizes will be determined by random drawing of all eligible pics.
9. If anyone is found out to have committed fraud in any way in an attempt to win these prizes, I will personally ban you from this website.
10. Winners will be responsible for getting their deer head to ArtisticWhitetails to have the mounts done.

In addition to the two prizes listed above, James has offered up a $50 Academy gift card as well. I will draw names from all of the kill pics posted in the Youth Weekend Kill Thread for it. To be eligible for it, all you will have to do is post a kill pic with the youth and their deer in the Youth Weekend Kill Thread. They will not be required to hold up a pic or sign. The pic will need to be posted by midnight Nov. 16th to be eligible.

Any youth is eligible so long as the deer is taken in during Alabama's youth season Nov 13th-16th in Alabama. Deer must be a buck and you must post a picture including the Motivated Movers Logo Shaw posted above with the hunter and the deer in the picture. You can print the logo to paper and take with you or you can use a tablet or similar device so long as we can clearly see the logo. Now get those kids to the woods and get some horns on the ground!

My son and myself will be burning up the woods Friday and Saturday. Thanks for the generosity of you all for putting together such a great prize package.

I'm not going to tell my son about the prizes. He's put a good bit of emphasis on killing his first buck after his sister laid the smack down on her first last year during youth weekend. Charles mounted that one, maybe we can be in for a repeat this year!

Good luck fur! I hope he gets a big one! My daughter killed her first two last year. A Doe first and a buck a week later. It was just a 3 point but you'd have thought it was a wall hanger by the grin on her face. She's looking to improve that this Saturday. Nothing funner than watching the kids put deer on the ground! Special thanks to DW for allowing my son "barbwire" to redeem himself and take his first deer. He had gotten cold and we walked to the other side of the field to warm up in the sun. As we got about 75 yards from the wood line he spots a deer and takes a shot. Long story short is the deer was on the wrong side of the fence this time and no strand of barbwire could save him.
