Got a 2000 12 ga that I plan on using for turkey season. 28 inch barrel all that good stuff. Anyone else have one, and if so, what kind of setup do you have? Scope choke and shot is mostly what I would like to know. I have used a Mossberg 500 over the last few years but got a good deal on this gun. If you don't have one, what all would you out fit it with? Thanks guys

I have an M2000 with a Primos Tight Wad choke & I run blended shells through mine & works like a champ. Good gun.

my 3500 loves a tightwad and the HeviShot magblends. I don't have any experience with turkey scopes, but I've got a set of Williams Universal Slugger sights on my other turkey gun and love them.

I've got a primos jelly head in mine. It shoots the hevi magblends the best.

If it was mine the first thing I'd do would be cut about 6"'off the barrel

I have thought VERY hard about ordering a 22-24" barrel and the factory pistol grip stock for my 3500 to convert it to a turkey gun during the spring. Would run me about $300ish. Currently it's max4 but if I do it I'd order the barrel, stock and a 2nd foregrip in the real tree APG. I've even photoshopped up a before/after...you really wouldn't even notice the receiver being a different pattern.
