Young bucks still running together in Dallas Co. but the older bucks are starting to go it alone. It won't be too much longer.

Weekend should be on fire up on Lookout Mtn. in dekalb co

As of yesterday, the does appear to have broken off from one another but then that afternoon I had a monster 3.5 yr old 8pt come in with a 3.5 6pt not 10 yds behind him here in Bibb Co.

South butler they are working scrapes and pushing some does.( about a month early). Maybe just a few coming in early. We have seen this before

Bucks are starting to cruise some for does in perry county.

saw a stud chasing a doe inside city limits of Dothan yesterday. Just pass Ace Hardware before you get to 231 south on the circle.

FIL had an eight point chase 7 does by him on Saturday

Not much going on in Dallas County that I can tell. I drive to Tuscaloosa every day and have seen 2 bucks on the road side in the past week. May be getting stupid north of Ttown.

I saw a buck chasing several does this morning on the side of the interstate just east of Exit 6 on 459 (headed west) this morning. I'll probably see a few greasy spots in the road on my way back... I'd say they're rutting in central AL.

Saw a pic on fb were he was hit by a car. He was laying alive in the median of the circle. He was a stud for sure.

Haven't been in the woods much, will be over the next 2weeks. Last Saturday I seen 5 bucks all 2yr olds all on their feet looking. One was trailing a doe. This was in Talladega county. This is my family's property been hunting it my whole life. Normally when I see the 2yr olds doing this 5 to 10 days later I'll start seeing the mature ones go stupid. Now this weather may mess it up a little but it's really any day now.

Still not here in south Morgan county. Last buck pic I got still had no neck swell. In another week to week and a half things should start to heat up. Then really any time through January can be good.

January 10-21. We seem to have the most luck during Martin Luther King Holiday just south of Union Springs.

Thats about right for us to. I went back through some pics from the last couple years and had some pics of a couple bucks that had lost half the antlers fighting. One had it on the 17th and next pic on the 23rd he had it broke off. The other buck I didn't have a before but had an after and it was the 28th.

Nothing going on in section al or I'm doing something wrong. Only rubs I've seen are two from early November . Talked to a game warden yesterday said he's not even seeing many deer at night in our area. Seen a game pic of two bucks together on a property at the foot of crow mountain so what's that say ?
