In years past a running QB has been Bama's kryptonite, Cam Newton changed how Saban recruited and he now has those lightening fast defensive ends/OLB that can get to a mobile QB. While they may not get to him every time he just isn't going to roll out and run around slower DE like Bama use to have. Also I think Bama's LB are much faster than those guys in years past, Foster and Ragland are pretty quick.

Clemson is good but I think they are a bit over rated. I like Bama by 13 or more.
Been here long enough to go from "bring 'da pain" to " bring 'da pain meds.

What yall think? I have thought Clemson would be a tough match up for Bama since early this season.
Think this one will be a very tight game but clemson gives up too many points. 34-23 Tide Rolls kiffin will have the boys ready to play and we will win our 82nd and 83rd national championship. BAMA 42, the barns twin brother 3 Edit, the barns twin brother with a lake

A running qb that can throw it isn't just Alabama's weakness. It causes problems for every team. Clemsons qb can improvise and he is a real dual threat. It will be an interesting matchup. Before the playoff I thought Clemson was not physical enough to play with Oklahoma or Alabama. I was shocked at what they were able to do against a good Oklahoma team. I've went back and forth between a Clemson squeaker, an Alabama squeaker and an Alabama blowout. I guess I need to go with an Alabama win. I'm thinking low scoring. 17-13 Alabama
