Got out to Martin and found some clear water down the lake. We caught striper a up to 8 pounds and spots up to 3. All fish came on down lined shad at 30 feet over a 45 foot bottom. Some of the spots were spitting Up bluebacks.

That's what they looked like to me.

I have heard that others have seen blue backs lately also. I would put my money on one of the out of town guides that has started working the lake over the past few years. I know the game wardens are aware and I hope they catch them and throw the book at them.
