Sounds like the ends of the ramps are squared off and ride high enough above grade that they cause the ramp to tilt back and the other end raise up. The end could be tapered by welding a piece of angle iron across the end in a Vee configuration with the point of the Vee becoming the very end of the ramp to create a tapered end. OR you may need to put blocks under the end of the trailer so it don't squat when you get the bulk of the weight on the very end of the dovetail. The blocking also helps avoid broken springs.
Get the F out of the BATFE. The F is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Those other letters are not.

Blocking it or having drop down stands welded to the back of the trial.

We have thought about the first suggestion you mentioned. We tried the blocking, but didn't have the right size/material blocks, just ended up smashing them down. I think I'm going to try out the piece of angle iron on the end of the ramps.

put a jack stand in the back center of trailer, between the ramps Yep. I use two jack stands, one under where each ramp attaches.

I welded some drop down braces to my ramps. They don't touch until you get a little weight on the back end.

Cut two 4x4 blocks to length.
Put one under each corner or the trailer while loading/unloading.
Problem solved.

I didn't even think about jack stands, I have some sitting in my garage...will give that a try. I knew I was not thinking of something simple! I use jack stands as well. You will probably need a piece of 2x6 in the jack stand if you are loading/unloading on soft ground. Best thing is what we have at the farm, a slightly raised road bed. It's the perfect height to load equipment without a set of ramps. Just back the rear trailer lip over the edge and go.

Why not just pin it in place?

Why not just pin it in place? I've thought about this too, but that would only work for my specific tractor or similar tractors of the same width - and would be an example of the drilling solution I've thought about. For example today I helped my buddy move his skid steer with my trailer and the holes I would have to put in place for my tractor wouldn't work for his skid steer. Guess I could just make a few holes in different locations to account for different axle widths.

Use one on each side or you might bend the rear crossmember of the trailer

18-24" long piece of cross ties cut at a slight angle. Slide under back end of trailer and load. If weight does not come off of the the angle allows you to pull forward and let trailer slide off them.

The jack stands should work fine. Most equipment trailers have feet on the ramps so that when a tractor or whatever gets on the ramp, the trailer squats and the feet hit the ground. Without something under the arse end of the trailer it puts a tremendous amount of stress on the ball and trailer hitch.
