Just wanted to share my experience today. I will be moving to Italy in the next few months and will not be able to take any guns with me and I needed somewhere safe to store them. I started looking into gun safes and after a few week's of research I decided on the Liberty Colonial 30. I went to the local dealer here in Montgomery and while I thought it was a decent price I figured i would call Marks and see what they were there. Let's just say even if I wasn't driving that way I would have driven from Montgomery to Vestavia Hills and back. Marks always treats me right and as nice and helpful as they were today I just wanted to share it in hopes that someone will buy something there based on my experience.
BTW gun safes are heavy as shucks

The place is hit or miss for me...some guys are really really nice and awesome but others think they are hot stuff...I know people who won't ever do business again with them for how they were treated, but I've gone their my whole life and they have some great deals everynow and then

I have never had an issue at Marks. Good store and every now and then you can run into a good deal.

I've had better service at Mark's than I ever have at Simmon's.

Several years ago I drove to marks to buy a pistol they assured me they had in stock and were holding for me till I got there. They didn't even have the gun in stock that was the last time I'll ever walk thru the door
We will burn that bridge when we get there

I have never had a bad experience in there. The service isn't always spot on, but I don't require much anyways. I figure you're like me. If I need assistance, I'll ask. Until then, leave me alone. I've bought several semi-rare used guns there at common prices.
