Our block is located just south of the intersection of Highway 10 and 43 , we have majority of the land in between Clay Hill Road and Highway 43. If your familiar with that section , south ends starts at Apricot Lane -North End Ends at the ATT Tower along 43. Guest enjoy same privileges as paid members. We're shooting for 8 members. Hunted in the club across Clayhill Rd from ya'll one year. Had quite a few deer, and there was always a strutter out on yalls powerline during turkey season.

TDD , That area is loaded with deer. I know they alway pull a few decent racks off that section of Marengo County every year. That flock enjoys those tall pines and huge clover patch year round. I'll hold a spot for you if interested ? You would enjoy the group we have assembled to hunt with.

If I wasn't already committed elsewhere I would definitely consider it. Unfortunately I don't have another $2500 in this years budget.

No direct affiliation with Flat Irons place, but this deer was killed year before last, in the club to the east, across Clayhill Rd. I had a ton of pics of this deer (cant find them now) and hunted him hard during bow season and early rifle with no success. Then this member came and killed him on his first trip to the property ever.








Anyway, just gives an idea of what can come from that area and a free bump

Thanks TDD for extra photos, that's a nice buck , were starting to build up a decent inventory of nice 3-4 year old bucks that should blossom into some great wall hangers this year and next. That area has some great deer roaming around on both sides of the road.One of our members planted 5 acres of Millet a few weeks back on the Powerline , drove by it yesterday and saw 15 Turkeys in there digging around.
