Why is it that I see used Model Sevens that people gush over and pay more than a new price for? A stainless one can be had for just over $600 new. Folks act like its a rare commodity that is hard to get. What gives?

Regardless of the make or model, alot of people think used guns are worth more than they are. I'm about to buy a nib model seven ss for alittle over $500. I tried to buy a used one, but they wanted way too much. God bless them if they can get those high prices, but I'd rather buy new, especially, when cheaper.

The SS ones were dropped from production for ten years (iirc) so the used SS were bringing a premium while they were scarce.
Now that they are back in production I think you will see the used prices come down a good bit unless the new run ends up having bad QC issues.

I figured Bud's was a good price. Where are you finding them for that price?

Bud's is a good price. I'm buying from an individual.

Gunbroker coupled with a lot of new people buying used guns that don't know how to grade a gun and really don't know what they are worth.

My favorite.... "Almost Unfired"

Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

I wouldn't pay more for a used one than a new one cost. The old one I'm buying is cheaper than a newer one.

Far as I know , a stainless Micro was never offered. Would be a sweet piece for sure!

The Matte blue with a custom composite stock is bout the best you could do with a Micro.

I took a Model Seven in 243 and had John Gallagher turn it into a 7mm-08.

How much weight did fluting the bolt and barrel save?

Have a sweet 270wsm model 7 laminate stock, with fluted barrel. Just wish it was stainless.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.
