I don't usually check my cameras unless I'm hunting near it anyway. I've gone over two months without pulling a card during the season.

It's cost prohibitive for a lot of people. Now if I had plenty of money, I'd be running around 20 of them on my 2k acre Kentucky lease lol

I love em!
And, just a very basic understanding of cell phones and PC's....and they are a breeze to fool with. The fact that you know realtime info on what is going on in the woods is priceless. And, if you watch for deals, the prices have really come down. I just ordered a 2015 Covert Code Black (Verizon) for a buddy at work for $275. It arrived in 4 days and I set it up and had it taking/sending pictures within about 30 mins at work Monday morning. He took it home and set it up and was getting pics of deer before dark the 1st day. He loves it! And, he has never had a game camera and no experience with apps and programs.

Cost too much. I run at least 10 cams most of the time. At those prices it would cost more than leases.

Hog, where did you find that kind of price on these. I see nothing but $360 or so and up.

Because of cost, and the amount of acreage/camera use.

And, seeing how most cameras are over some type of attractant, the cameras are checked when new attractant is added.

However, these are for a population census, and I'm not a "serious big buck hunter" attempting to keep minimal tread/scent out of an area.

God Bless,
David B.

We occasionally run a sale on Spartan GoCam (Verizon or ATT models) cameras that have been opened or used as a demo at a trade show. They typically run $50-100 off depending on model.

I think they are almost expert hunters with much experience, normally trail cameras are necessary.
