Well broke down and ordered one. Now have to buy a transducer holder/protector $80 and a $145 RAM mount. Hope its worth it.

JW I orderd it from Hodges Marine, cheapest place I could find. I get it sometime today and plan on checking it out tomorrow.

JW I took it out on Friday and liked it fine. Went back Saturday morning and the darn thing wont turn on. It has 12.63 volts coming to it. Airport Marine said to ship it to Hummingbird so its going today.

That sounds like my luck. They'll get you straight. Their customer service is great what few times I've used them.
They have always' had great customer service..years ago I sent them a unit for repair...the model was discontinued so I paid a small difference and they shipped me a new(better)model of the unit..

I have an inline fuse installed already on the fuse panel. Airport marine said that was good enough. I didn't end up getting the SI because my contact fell through so I ordered the DI GPS. I couldn't make myself pay the extra $300 for SI.
