Just bought my first SxS. Like the title says it's a Honda. Currently have 2 hours on it and I like it. Power is really strong. Tons of torque. The automatic transmission is a little odd for me because I've always had four wheelers. So far I like it. What are some add ins or "have to haves" for these thing. Gun rack and additional lighting ordered and heat shield for underneath the seat to keep us cooler. Pictures coming when I get to it.

Wind shield and a winch. You get that dude stuck and it's stuck. You don't pick up on the back rack like a fwheeler.

Well you are in pretty good shape then. I would also suggest some boot guards.

One must have is a gun case of some sort. I have the fabric kind that hangs from the roll bar. That windshield causes a tremendous amount of air to roll over the top and into the cab from behind. If you drive during dry conditions, everything in the cab will be covered in a layer of dust.

Nice rig! I almost bought one but decided on the Yahama Viking. That dude is HEAVY so definitely a min 4000 lb winch. Also a windshield, upgraded mud tires and a see thru plastic back wind shield so you wont get covered up by dust when the front windshield is up. Also, get one of the heavy black plastic Contico boxes for a tool/storage box for the bed. Find a Pioneer forum online and read up on others experiences/purchases with the same machine. I love mine too - soooo much more comfortable than a 4wheeler.

They are designed to keep the air flowing a different direction instead of all floating back toward the occupants. No idea how well they work, but I'm sure reviews could be found on some SxS forums.

Got it at halls here in Mobile. 12,800 out the door. They matched the prices at the Honda place in Laurel.

Rear poly shield (because of what yelp describes). Don't really need to see through the rear, but need to keep dust out.

Never understood the gun case for a sxs. Why not just keep your gun cased in the bed? Plenty of room to carry it. Only down side is if you are in a really rough ride you could knock your scope out, I guess....seems more theoretical than real though.

I took all those warning stickers off my Ranger. I just hated that I was wrapped in a lawyers decal when I was driving it.

My dad has one and they are one of the best SxS I have ever been on. Its powerful and it actually wont almost kill you coming down a steep Jackson county mountain because it gears down so low. Really nice machines.
