Get the one with the cameras inside, your wife will love it.
If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Craigslist will be your friend.

My parents bought a Samsung with bottom freezer, not the super high tech one with camera but does have digital thermostats, it lasted about 2.5 years and that expensive computer board went out that controls thermostat n that set them back several hundred dollars
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

The wife just "had" to have a new fridge with the freezer on the bottom. I hate it,the icemaker seems to be a little less than half the size of the side by side that we moved to the garage. Fill 4 cups with ice and its empty. Thank goodness for my yeti Mrs. Irish just had to have one of those too... now she complains about it all the time, but not to me. Because I tried to talk her out of it. It's a Frigidaire and we have already paid to have both ice makers fixed. The bottom ice maker is always dropping ice into the bottom of the freezer, which keeps the door from closing all the way. I get a little smile every time I see her on the floor with a spatula reaching way back in there to clear the ice out. She also get frustrated every time she has to pull 10 things out of the bottom of the freezer to get to a pack of frozen green beans. Not to mention the amount of times I have had to fix that whole sliding apparatus because it gets torqued and off track slightly. I had to let her learn her lesson. She won't by pining for one next time we need a new fridge. I've talked with a few repairmen and all of them have told me to avoid any appliance with any kind of digital crap on it. It only means $$$$. If I were you I would get the most basic Whirlpool side by side that you can get. My philosophy now on appliances is to buy new, buy on sale or clearance, and buy the cheapest most basic appliance they have in the color that the Mrs. will tolerate. That way when it inevitably breaks you can easily weigh the costs of repairs vs the cost of replacement. If you pay $2000 for a washing machine with WiFi, Facebook and a hand warmer on it, you pretty much have to bend over and grease it up when the repair man shows up. If you pay $150 for a cheap Roper at Lowes on clearance, when it breaks you just call and have another one delivered and take the wife out to dinner.

Like Bldevil 15 said, pay attention to the ice maker,we had one a whirlpool, had freezer in bottom, and I liked it had lots of room,in fridge part, and in freezer...BUT... ice tray was in the door, and after filling up 4 cups of ice,it was about empty, that was my only complaint.....speaking of Samsung think they've got one at Lowes that's like $5,000!!!!

I sure am glad I read all of this thrad - I almost started typing all that out because I truly dislike the latest fridge Mrs. Geno had to have. Very well put.
