I love my job and I hope to keep it for another 10 years.
I've been up since 0200 this morning tossing and turning and thinking about what I was going to do for a living if I got the axe today. Thank God it's over.
We had a timely message at church yesterday about fear that I needed to hear. That is great news! The message yesterday was a good one for ALL.

Congrats. Gotta love those Sunday sermons that make you feel like they are speaking directly to you and your situation. Or when you are giving a sermon/lesson and recognizing you need it more than anyone else Happy for you Irish!

Glad you made the cut too, hell I'd be scared someone would photo me in that helmet ! LOL Thanks jackass.  That photo was actually shot by Mrs. Irishguy on one of our party excursions to the French Quarter. We were in a junk shop and I tried that hat on. I should have bought it. Interesting historical note: The Vikings didn't actually wear horns on their helmets. The Celts did.

I've talked to several people who've each said the message in the sermon yesterday was just what they needed to hear. I love my Church. I have been attending regularly since Mrs. Irish and I started dating. I was raised a Presbyterian, then attended an Assembly of God for years in my 30's and 40's and was even a Royal Ranger Commander for about 5 years. Later became a Methodist and now I am at Highlands. I think I'm going to get more involved after all this. God has been speaking to me about a lot of stuff lately. It's time I listened up.
