Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

I've been shooting 140 grain sst in my 270 Win. I'm trying Accubonds in the 130 and 140 for this year. I haven't shot anything with them, yet.

I've always shot the 140's. They group better than the 130's out of mine.

Ive been shooting 150 grain fusion and they are devastating. Your deer will never know the difference at any normal distance.

I've shot 140 Accubonds in both my 270 and 270 wsm over the last several years. Very happy with the performance of them. I've killed about 25 deer with them. I've had 2 that weren't DRT. One made it about 10 yards, but the other went prob 60-80 yards. Both had substantial blood trails.

thought about it when i bought my x-bolt. had been shooting Winchester out of my Remington Model Four. for the xbolt went with Hornady SST but wasn't brave enough to change it all. went with the 130gr SST. I like them. group great. killed one doe. she died on impact and fell straight over. Maybe 140 gets me something better, but not sure i would even notice.

never fired a 140 in any 270 I've used, always 130grs, usually Nosler Partitions.

I shot 140 Hornady BTSP when I had a 270, good performance and groups were obtained, never took and animal with it.
If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.
