any of y'all got any recipes for Cube Steak aside from typical pan-frying or putting in a crock pot?
I've got a few packs left and looking for something different to do with it.

Bambi Bites!
I thought I got the recipe from here but can not seem to find in the search feature.
I take the cubed meat and hit with the meat tenderizing hammer a few times. If they are big pieces then I will cut in half. Usually have about 6 on my cutting board at one time.
I sprinkle on some Grillmates Steak seasoning.
Add a dab of cream cheese and a jalapeno.
Roll up and wrap a piece of bacon around it securing with toothpick. Cut bacon in half and that is enough to roll around one.
I marinate with a little Dales, Spicy Italian Dressing & Worchester sauce.
Cook on the grill until bacon is done. mm mm good!
Few tips you might already know but thought I would share anyway: Put a piece of Saran wrap over the pieces of meat before you start hitting with meat tenderizer. You will thank me later for not having to clean meat off the counter and walls.
Get really thin slices of bacon. They cook faster and you will not dry out the deer meat trying to get the bacon done.
Unless you or your family really like hot stuff- do not get the jalapenos with the seeds in the jar. Messed up last weekend and grabbed wrong jar at the store and they were sure enough hot and only had 1 jalapeno in each. Interesting....I've done similar with the tenderloins and backstraps, but basically just cut a golfball size hunk of meat, cut a pocket in it and stuff it with cream cheese. hadn't thought of using the cubed. So you're saying you take a thin, flat peice of cubed steak, put some cream cheese and jalapeno in it, then roll it up like a little mini-burrito? I'm gonna have to give this a try.

What do y'all think about slicing it into Strips and using it for fajitas? Any reason it wouldn't work as good as any other cut of meat?

Do you marinate or season them with anything in particular?

Nothing special. Moore's if I've got it and some dry steak seasoning. I've tried the "Fajita Seasoning" in the little envelope but wasn't impressed.

I also do philly cheesesteak sandwiches with lots of mozzarella and mushrooms. Slice them thin and cook the steaks on the griddle or skillet with onion and add the mozz and mushrooms towards the end. Makes a nice, gooey mess that is like heaven on a good, fresh, warm sub roll.

Beat hell outta it with a tenderizing hammer...I mean like double its' size. fold it in half, and beat the 2 layers back into 1. Dip it in milk, dredge it in seasoned flour, back in the milk, back in the flour, then deep fry just until it floats. Put mayo, lettuce, and tomato on a bun, then the steak, and enjoy!

I do it. marinate with a dash of olive oil, soy sauce, salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, cumin, cayenne, chili powder. Cook down onions/peppers in the same seasonings and then add the meat and brown. It's delicious.

I par cook the bacon in the microwave, then wrap. This will shorten the time needed on the grill to get the bacon done, thus preventing overcooked deer meat.

COUNTRY FRIED DEER STEAK WITH RICE AND GRAVY
Season cube steak with salt & pepper.
Cover in flower and brown in pan with a little olive oil
Put browned cube steak in casserole dish and spoon 1 can of cream of chicken and 1 can of cream of mushroom, 1 1/2 cup of water over browned cubed steak
Cover casserole dish with tin foil and bake at 350 F for 1 hour and 15 mins.
Serve over rice.
This is our absolute favorite.
