Anybody here use the Cabela's boa snake boots? Any problems out of them? I know they have a lifetime guarantee and I've read good reviews on them, just wanted to hear some firsthand opinions.

I usually just wear a nice pair of hiking boots but I believe I've gotten all the use I'm going to get out of my current pair and a couple places I've started hunting has me a little more snake wary.

Wife got me a pair for Christmas. Im looking forward to trying them out.

I haven't had a pair that would last very long, so its either buy cheap boots and alot of them or a good pair that will be replaced. As long as they stand behind there products then im happy.

I got some of the boas on sale several years ago on sale. Very pleased with them. Light and comfortable. Don't know if they are making them the same or not, but the ones I have are great.

Yup. Mine are light, super comfortable, and a bonus they're in the OG Bottomland

I've got the boas. They are fine boots. They have a cabelas "lifetime" guarantee which actually means 1 year and 30 days. I turkey hunt /bow hunt in them one season and then take them back and swap them for a pair of new ones every year.

Really? Do you just tell them there's a problem with them or do they just swap them out no questions asked?

Well like all gore Tex boots they usually start leaking after a season of hard use. I've never had to lie to them about it as soon as they start leaking a little or I bust a couple seams I just take them back. I'm on my 3rd pair
If something has a lifetime guarantee I expect them to honor it for more than 13 months

Yeah I agree with you. I didn't realize the "lifetime" guarantee was only for that period of time.

Got a pair of Danners and they are the best Ive ever had. I am in the timber business so I wear them every day. They have held up great and are like wearing tennis shoes.

I have the Cabelas Boa snake boot. Wore them all last season for the first time. Excellent snake boot! Very comfortable once you break them in. I sealed mine in snow seal before and after the season. They'll last a loooong time if you take the time to do that.

I researched snake boots for a long time before deciding on the Boas. Couldn't be happier. And I don't have to deal with all the laces that the danner folks do. Just slide them on and tighten the thing in the back.

I got the danner snake boot in the same camo and mine aren't waterproof for crap. My feet get soaking wet walking through wet grass. Other than that they are super comfortable and lightweight

We are not perfect, only forgiven!!!

Same here with the Danners. My first pair lasted three seasons before they started leaking. Second pair started leaking in 3 weeks. Not sure I want another. I like the idea of the boas, my laces are always coming untied.
