I plan on doing some Coyote hunting and I have always wanted a full body Coyote mount. Couple questions. Anyone know of a place near Scottsboro that will do one? About how much? And what do I need to do after I kill one? Just put him in the freezer til I take him to the taxidermist? Thanks for the info.

I had always wanted to get one mounted if I could kill a big one with my bow... I killed this one in 2012 and Wilborn Outdoos in Cullman did the mount on him...Yes, put it in a garbage bag in the freezer after you kill one and try to get it to the taxidermist as soon as you can

Had this one done several years ago.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I have a black coyote from a month or so ago in my freezer. I would love to hear some taxidermist suggestions.

Yeah, they're high. I only paid $400 because the taxidermist is a good friend.

My bobcat cost $450 with no base 2 years ago, I assume a coyote would be about the same.

You think about the hours required to do a full body mount, and $500 seems like a minimum.

Better do your homework. A lot of coyote mounts look like crap, just like most cat mounts. Ron Bettendorf of Sorghum Hollow does a great job. Might want to look him up on FB and give him a call.

Somewhere back, some lucky mutt got bred, instead of et! Pure coyote in that face, though. Good job on the mount, too!

Out of all the yotes the taxidermist mounted, he said he nearly guaranteed that this was the only dog and yote mix he had ever seen.

I had one in a sitting position with a terrible snarl on his face. The wife would not let me keep it in the house so I kept it in a tool shed. I had a lot of laughs watching it scare he hell out of folks. We once put it in a camphouse and set this guy up by telling him we had seen a yote run from under the house several times when driving up. He drove up one Friday night with some hunting buddies and he was the first one in to turn on the lights. The stuffed yote was right at his feet. He literally tore the screen door off leaving. We still laugh about it.

For those with mounts. Do you have dogs or animals? How do they react to the mount?
