We have a beautiful piebald doe on our property, she is a younger deer. Last year she was with other deer. So far this year she seems to be alone. Saw her last week on a food plot and some other deer acted like they wanted to run her off. Question is do other deer try to avoid them and can they reproduce? I heard someone say they can not reproduce. Anyone have any info?

I personally wouldn't shoot her

I watched a beautiful piebald last weekend on a plot with 6 other deer. I've got a pic but can't post from my phone. Colorations we're very similar to an elk, but much lighter on the back end

I seen one a couple different times in Bankhead earlier in the year. She was probably 3/4 white with just a little brown on the very top of her back.

I had much rather be tried by twelve than carried to my grave by six!!!!

They can reproduce. I'd shoot her and eat her.

^^^ Yep. They taste just as good as the regular ol' brown ones.

we've had plenty of post on piebalds and as stated before old wise tales and Indians saying, it is bad juju to shoot a piebald.
Anyone have any tales on this?

I have never seen one in the woods. I can honestly say I'm not sure whether I would shoot one or not.
