The reason I ask is because I spoke with my club president earlier today and he told me that one of our club members went to a co-op in Jasper to buy some and was told they had to remove it from inventory because a conservation official told them it was illegal. He was told that if it was caught growing on a property that the property could be seized/and or lease terminated and someone could face jail time. Our club is in Fayette county and the member lives in Walker county and I do not know which co-op he visited. Our club president does not want to plant and jeopardize loosing our lease. I call BS on it and think this particular member made up this story(I have no idea why he would but he is a known crap starter). The reason he was told is because it is in the marijuana family. Does anyone here know if it could be true?
