Main thing for me is to not sweat on the way to the stand.I'll dress very light for the cold and carry my coat, bibs,or coveralls on my stand. I won't put on my warm clothes until I cool off after climbing a tree or even if I carry a folding chair. Same thing with boots.I may carry my boots and wear light tennis shoes if I don't have to cross creeks or such. Any sweat will freeze you. Wool socks will help since it stays warm if it does get wet.

You should look more at the materials the clothing made from and not so much who makes it. Layered quality clothing is what keeps ya warm.

Well im a big believer of under armour. Almost everthing i wear in the woods is under armour. Its all fitted so it fits me well there fore i dont work as hard movin around and i sweat less. Its spensive but the stuff is really hard to beat. I save a little money every year an try to hunt up some older made in usa stuff to. I wear a 100% wool walls polar tuff jacket from the mid 80's an its like gold to me, ive got my old jerry simmons patch sowed on the left side chest of the jacket. I never leave the house during cold months without it. Ive had it aloong and there doesnt exist an amount of money that could buy it from me. Hehe when i washed it last at the end of deer season the jacket turned the water red its seen alotttttt of dead deer

Sitka Gear fanatic series. The Cabela's MT050 stuff is pretty high quality too.

Totally agree,... but some of the brands have better details. More thought out things

It's what sets plythal above KUIU and Sitka and the others IMO.

So what are some of the details that set them apart?
