Taxes filed April 17. Does anyone know a way to check when you should be expecting your State Refund? I have gone to MY ALA REFUND for the last 2 months and it is still says the following:
"Your return has been received and it is being processed. The processing time varies for each return. You should receive your refund 8 to 12 weeks from today provided you do not owe any taxes for prior years or other state agencies."
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

I called them several times and they always helped. I got the number off myalabamataxes.alabama.gov
not sure what the best way to handle them is but they shouldnt be on tv and gettn married and raisin kids

I get this message: Your return has been received. Your wages and/or withholding cannot be verified at this time. The review of your return will resume once your information has been received from your employer(s).
It took over a year in 2015 I believe they give some folks the runaround Mine said that also but that is a standard message they put on there sometimes. They had everything from my employer. I finally got mine in May I believe. Filed early February.

I had to paper file because my tax identification was hacked and several fraudulent returns had been filed. I got a check thru the mail 2 weeks ago. I was expecting more than a year.

I still haven't got mine back from the state from 2015. More ornless got an IOU. They sent me a paper to fill out a study for the state by "x" date the date stamp on the letter by the post office was a day later then "x" date in the letter. Called the number on the letter and they was as helpful as tits on a boar I'll bet you the amount of your refund that's not why it's being held up.And I'd damn sure have found out why by now if they owed me money.
