Contact Cal at Lights Out charters. He's a sponsor here and has a boat in Destin I believe. Great guy.

Cal if 4 guys wanted to go for a 6 hour trip, what kind of limits can you hope for? I would hope for a limit of snapper and mingos with maybe a grouper as a bonus. They've been catching a few cobia while bottom fishing as well. I know where some very angry grouper live within 20 miles of the beach but so far all we've done is donated some tackle to them. It's amazing how strong those fish are after they feel the hookset. Next time I fish them I plan to use heavier tackle and hope they're hungry. All of this depends on the fish not having lockjaw. I fished an are where I can usually limit on scamp and gag grouper two weeks ago and was very humbled. We eventually found fish but had to work for every one of them. Sad thing is we lost a lot more grouper than we got in the boat.
