In my opinion, stalk and dog hunting dont really mix in the same club unless you are talking 3-4000 acres and above. You need to ask yourself, if you hunt mostly weekends and like to stalk hunt, how are you going to feel about the "occasional dog drive" turning into "every weekend dog drives". 1500 acres really isnt much land when you are talking about serious dog hunting. If you like to dog hunt and will participate when they do run, then join it. There have always been decent numbers of deer around Citronelle and up towards Vinegar Bend. Area is known for numbers, not quality bucks.
