Sitting one of my favorite sets. Right on the edge of big timber pines and a hardwood bottom. Oak flats to my left and right with a big creek behind me for a pinch point. I've killed 2 10s an 8 and a big 7 from this stand.
Unfortunately it's inside the cut lines so I'll be pulling it out when I come down today. Hoping for some last time magic.
What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.

The batular group of buck I'm hunting has been running all around me since day light. 15 minutes ago I came to full draw on the really nice 10 point in the group twice! He would not stay still. I could have shot one of the smaller 8 points in the group but held off. they playfully ran off and I'm feeling the wind on my neck. I'm thinking about leaving if this wind doesn't act right. I feel like puking!! Dang Nate, that sucks

Went to Bankhead yesterday morning where I had jumped a couple of bucks a month ago while scouting; It's near a couple of clubs. However, some coonhunters were walking out while I was going in. They had been running dogs all night in the area and still hadn't rounded up their stragglers. Sat until noon, but no deer. Hope you have better luck!
