Trying to buy a lifetime hunting/fishing license for my son before he turns 2 next weekend and the price goes up. When I try to do it online, there isn't an option to select that as a privilege? I see a mail in application, but that will never get there and processed before next weekend.

Anyone recently purchased a lifetime license for a toddler/kid recently that can give some insight?

Goes up about $50 after he turns 2. Then I have until he's 11 before the next tier of prices.

You can’t do those online because it requires a copy of the birth certificate or other documentation, just like a driver’s license would. They want to verify that the kid is indeed under 2 instead of 14. I went through the same thing before my kid turned 2.

Is going to your Probate office an option?

I didn't know you could buy them for a child. Man, I should have done that already. I figured you had to be the age that actually requires a license.

You can also buy them a georgia lifetime even though you don't live there if they are under 2. I think it was around 200 when I bought it last year. If he uses it once it will be worth it.

In the process of buying my 6 week old his lifetime license. Damn near more paperwork for this than it was to buy my house.

Called our commissioners office yesterday. Got everything lined up and went today. Took about 15 minutes to get my almost 2 year old his hunting and fishing license.

Birth certificate and a letter mailed from Doctor. That's what I took to the Court House and to get my grandson.

I got mine the hard way...had to endure months and months of hormonal, pregnant women!

I ended up going to the satellite DMV office in Madison Co. They were able to do it, but it took forever since they had to call someone and be walked through it.

I needed my DL, his social security card, birth certificate, and a signed letter from the daycare that he is enrolled/attends.

Got the hard copy in the mail last week from buying it around 11/1.
