What's your earliest memory as a kid? I can remember crying because my dad wouldn't/couldn't let me go on a company hunting trip when I was 5.

I can vaguely remember getting in trouble for wiping boogers on my headboard lol.

I remember seeing a blimp in Long Beach CA when I was between 3-4 and it scared me something horrible.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I'm going to guess it was the Goodyear blimp, it is kept in Carson which isn't too far from LongBeach.

One of my earliest memories is realizing that it was going to be just my Mom and I growing up.
It was a pre-K camp out that I couldn't go to because my father passed away.

I remember several things at 4 yo. Mainly painful things like running through a closed glass sliding door. Falling out of a tree and knocking the breath out. Being thrown in the pool until I learned to swim. Being scared to be sent on an airplane by myself to visit my grandparents in San Antonio. The beating I got after calling a black lady at my dads work the N word. (My parents didnt use that word, but my grandfathers did)

Your mom’s house
My earliest memory is being attacked by hornets when I was 3 years old. I was actually a little over three years. I was wearing a sweater vest and walking from our house to my grandparents. We lived on the same farm. It was the morning of my brother's christening. They got in my sweater. I don't know how many times I was stung. I don't actually remember being stung, but I remember running into my grandmother's house and someone pulling my sweater and shirt off and being sat in the sink in the kitchen.

The only other memory I have before I was 5 is my maternal grandparents getting out of the car and walking down our driveway towards our house. That is the only memory I have of my mom's father. He died when I was 4 years old.

I have some great memories of being little but I had some trauma too.
Id been sewn up in the E/R 2-3 times by age 8 and had 2 surgeries for a broken arm at 5.
But a silly little traumatic memory for me was about 4.
It was a Saturday. Mom was going to the beauty shop and Dad was working a fence in the pasture. Mom made me a sandwich and told me to walk back and hang with Dad when I got through.
I went back there and I looked and hollered and I couldnt find him.
They found me crying on the front step of the house about 2 hours later. I thought everybody had left me.
Dad had been working down behind the dam of the pond out of sight. He was pulling wire and never heard me.

Hurricane Camille, was on my 4th birthday. Remember watching trees fall in the yard and my birthday with no electricity.

My earliest memory is around age 4 just a few things from that age. As far as actually remembering details about my life in general probably around age 9.

I remember sitting on 5 gallon buckets with my great grandpa while waiting for the garbage man to come when I was 4-5 years old. I miss that man every day.

Somewhere between 2 & 3 years old.

I would be sitting in the floor, playing in front of the television. When, suddenly, I would be defying gravity and "floating" through the room, lol.

This memory was very confusing until I mentioned it to my father many years later. He told me that it was just him picking me up and carrying me across the room to sit in his lap. He said it had just part of his morning routine.

tl;dr - aliens?; not aliens.

When I was three or four years old, my older brother and I shared a room. We were supposed to be taking a nap, but instead were seeing who could make it the furthest along the window-sill without falling off. After a few attempts, we realized there was a large caterpillar on the window, so we both side stepped the sill to get a better look. I kid you not, the second we got directly behind it, a giant crow (I'm sure it was normal sized, but in my memory it was the size of a dragon) slammed into the window and grabbed the bug. My brother and I fell off screaming and hit the ground pretty hard. We knew we were busted but we jumped into our beds and pretended to be a sleep. Mom burst in the room, wooden spoon in hand. We had no hope....

I remember throwing all my Tonka trucks over the fence around our front yard and my mom with a wooden spoon. Believe I was 3 at the time.

Hahahaha I have many not-so-fond memories of the ol' wooden spoon.

We moved lived on a little farm in Tennessee until I was 5 and have many many vivid memories of that place. Trying to keep up with my Dad on the STEEEEEEEP hills, finding duck and chicken carcasses that had been got by predators, trying to hit the wiffle ball over the house, and perhaps the best one, competing with my brother to see who could pee farthest off our tree house, which was really just a flat platform nestled way up high in a fork in a big oak. It's a miracle one of us didn't die falling off that thing.

being bitten on the neck by a dog at 3 or 4 y.o.. i had been practicing jumping up on the trunk of my grandparent's old chrystler that morning. neighbors came across the road with their dog, who the teens had been aggravating all morning, and i guess i surprised it when i petted it and it turned and came after me...didn't make it onto the trunk that jump and the dog caught me. local country dr stitched it up and I got blood poisoning b/c he didn't clean it well (was into his supply of mother's little helpers at the time).
to this day i remember drinking a small bottle of coke, watching grandparent's black and white tv (lawrence welk show was on) and sitting on my little green stool ('73 or '74).

experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....
