Probably over looking the thick cutover. I've never had no luck hunting a frozen food plot in the morning...

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I have hunted in the snow a few times in Alabama and never saw a deer. I think the snow freaked them out. It does. Never seen any movement either, none, nada. They find a pine thicket and bed down tight.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I hunted yesterday afternoon with snow on the ground and saw 8 bucks 9 does and 5 turkeys. By far my best day this season.

If its NOT snowing hard, but just light and/or snow on the ground, any warm, dry stand over food sources or funnels/trails to it. Thats not some big knowledge advice, just what Id do, and hope for the best. LOL
If its snowing hard, blowing and snow on the ground too? Thats you prime opportunity to do a Benoit and walk up/Still hunt a deer. They seem to get deaf and blind and stationary in a blowing snow storm. My most fun deer hunts ever, and you can get within now or pistol range most times, seems like. Maybe thats just southern deer, no clue....just an accidental discovery of a dumb hunter that's worked identically on three occasions.
