from what I know of these folks your leases will go up. They don't care much for the little money they get for leasing. They charge for everything, Food plots acreage lost, roads acreage lost, They charge for the money lost on timber that could have been planted in those areas. Leases are put out for bids and high bid get the land, If you are a current lease holder you can match the highest bid to keep the land. Its all about the money. Normally they will have a local person handling. Sounds just like Rayonier....

Normally they will have a local person handling. Sounds just like Rayonier.... Yep.. and sometimes those Highest bidders can have it.. I lost 12,500 acres we had for 17 years because they went from 3$ to 6$ per acre in one year. Told them keep it. Took wo trailer loads of gates off and got my stuff out. And it was open for business. Those Cubans didnt kill 3 deer that first year and let it go back. The Timber Co. Out of Florida called me back and said if I could match their price I could have it back. Told them call the Miami boys back I aint playing anymore and I took my toys and gave another Timber co 30,000$ for a better tract Dont y'all love that money... they will crew a 17 year partnership over the a few $$... that place has not been leased in 10 years now. Lol. No one will pay it..
