Go south, not north from town. West is good too in some areas. Don't listen to him  ... I hunt on the north side of Lake Tuscaloosa and up around Windham Springs a good bit. The place closer to Lake Tuscaloosa has been really great this year - we've killed a LOT of mature deer in the past 3-4 weeks. Up at Wyndham Springs, not as much - probably because we don't have as much pressure up there.

I hunt North Tuscaloosa county and have seen a good many deer since December but before then it wasn't too good
