Back in the same place as yesterday, it must’ve rained a ton, this place is full of water. The rains stopping, maybe the deer will move.

I’ll be hitting it this afternoon on some public land I’ve been seeing a good amount of deer at. Hopefully one will get close enough for me to sling an arrow!

I'm here checked camera and had plenty of activity this morning. Hoping they will be on there feet this afternoon since the front made its way through! Feeling confident for a chamge, Good luck!

Skunked again this morning. Moved spots this afternoon, sitting on the back side of a slough where the hardwoods meet a 3 yo cutover. I haven’t been in this spot in a few years, maybe my luck will change.

Walked past where I normally hunt on a piece of public land I like. Walked until I found a creek bottom with a trail a semi truck could drive through. Sat for two hours and saw 8 but none of them close enough to let an arrow fly. I’ve got one more hunt to get another one before season is over.

I ended up seeing one doe just out of range.
