I will be spending multiple weekends in the Dothan/ Ozark area during turkey season. As I am not from around there ( live in B'ham) are there any places (not hunting lodges) where i can go hunt several mornings?
if God wanted me to be a vegetarian, he would have made shooting brussel sprouts more fun!

Good advice, but I think I will save that on this one.....she's my wife and I want to keep her! only get to see her about every 2 weeks due to being temporarily in separate cities. Just hoping I can get to different types of birds in one trip 😎
I am hoping one of her coworkers or bosses have some land that they will let me hunt

TM thank you for the offer! I may take you up on it! My wife lives there right now until the fall and then she will move up here. So we split our time back and forth and I would absolutely love to hunt down there!
BC I will ask my father in law to point me to the feed store so I can talk with Mr Thompson! My wife's family live in the land of Oz!

they say there use to be a bunch of birds on ft rucker. Dont know for myself . Might not have time to jump through all their hoops. Think you gotta have hunter education card. Might be worth checking into. Never been hunting out there myself.

Never been there myself however I did have a buddy try to go turkey hunting out there. When he registered his gun, they wrote the serial number down wrong and tried to take his gun away because it came back stolen. Was a real mess. That turned me off of trying after that incident.

If I could go during the week id try it however the job wouldn't allow for it. Don't have anywhere to go and still don't wanna have to deal with the crap
