I'm taking a group of customers and some salesmen on a hog trip to our land on Saturday. We don't have dogs So what is the best was for us to hunt them for our best chance of sucess. Sit and deer hunt them or try to tStalk them? Was planning g on goin the day before to put out bait piles. Also when is the best time hunt them during the day?
if God wanted me to be a vegetarian, he would have made shooting brussel sprouts more fun!

Thanks, I didn't think about it being youth turkey weekend. Wonder if GW would cite us even if we don't have any youth or turkey hunters around?

i seen this guy on tv that had several feeders set up. He had the feeders timed so that they would go off about the time he would make it to each spot. He would drive and then walk, from spot to spot and shoot the pigs. It seemed to work pretty good.
I like to put that cmere deer corn coat to the bait pile to add a little smell, the first couple of times. Heard of folks using cool aid powder with the sugar(the just add water kind) If you put bait in an area where you can track them this helps a bunch. This is what we do, but we use dogs. But the same principle could be used for stalking. Once we see what direction they go, we bout know where they're laying in the creek bottoms.
