Free range in the big pen turkeys Well, I'm on the poor side of that fence hunting the free range birds. Sad thing is, the guy that has that property doesn't even turkey hunt. But I guess if I were a turkey, I would prefer to take up residence in an area where no one was hunting me and was predator free. Had a buddy of mine tell me to my heaviest fishing tackle with big treble hook or plug and leave in leaning against a tree, just in case.
