I have heard them and bream eggs fried are good. Just wondering if anyone has tried them.

On the coast, mullet white roe is common(I have never had white roe) Just remember white roe is sperm and the red roe is the eggs.

I'll stick with the sides and let the yard hens have the eggs.

The better half absolutely loves mullet roe. I cooked some last year and I couldn't eat it. I aint never really cared too much for fish, but because of her, my freezer is full of last year's catches and this year's kills.

I've eaten roe from bass, bream, crappie, suckers, speckled trout, mullet (white and yellow), snapper, sheepshead, cobia and I'm sure some others that I am not thinking about right now. It's all been good but it's rich and I can't eat much at one sitting. Took me a week to eat the roe out of an 80+ lb cobia one time.
