Anybody hunt around Franklin in Macon Co? If so, how is it? Any info would be a plus. I may be looking to lease some land around there. Thanks

I used to lease some land just north of exit 38. We had some really big deer killed in the years I hunted There and it was only 400 acres. Good turkey hunting too. But you better not plan on setting up a campsite or everything there will be gone each week.

There is some land off 49 around the railroad track crossing and beyond that looks jam up but I've never been able to find a contact for who leases it. I'd be interested in that area for sure.

My grandparents owned the land beside the interstate at exit 32. It was across the road from J&S smokehouse when it was open. What few times I hunted there I always saw deer and some good deer killed a few, but never liked the noise of the interstate.

Biggest buck I have ever seen was on the side of the interstate at that exit, with 2 does. know he had 12pts, and +150".

They clear cut the land on the other side of the tracks. I turkey hunted the land on the right side, no birds
