A yellow dog Democrat is one that will support democrats just because they have a “D” behind their name. A blue dog Democrat is one that has conservative values.
Can they be Christians? Or still no? St Peter, Aka @IDOT, opinion?

Unfortunately this is fact. It’s impossible to be a Christian now that he has voted for a democrat. In very FEW instances, can you be a Christian and vote Democrat. That isn't even up for debate. [/quote] Now I’m not I’m a democrat but I find this statement to be relatively ignorant. In very few instances can you call yourself a Christian and pass judgement on people you do not know. Blast away but you made a blanket statement on people you do not know.

Daddy always told me not to discuss politics, religion, money and your favorite fishing spots with strangers. Daddy wasn’t in law enforcement.

Jimmy Carter is going to have to answer for the hurt and suffering he put on the farmers in this country. What his salvation may be isn’t for me to decide but I know I sure wanted him to go to hell.

He's anti-business based on his actions after the tornado. The new regulations put in kept many a small business from rebuilding and forced them to relocate or close up shop completely. This was years ago so hardly anyone remembers that little fact.
He also swindled dozens of landowners out of property in order to create the "trail of tears" walking path along the tornado path, which to this day still is not complete. Wonder how many millions have been spent on the landscaping for that deal. And for what? So UA students can walk their dogs on a million dollar sidewalk for half a mile?
He also proposed, and was quite serious about, building a convention center in Tuscaloosa, at the expense of tax payers, solely for the purpose of drawing more convention type business to the city. Tuscaloosa doesn't need a convention center more than it needs a sharp stick in the eye.
He's a typical, cookie cutter democrat that will look for any way, shape, or form to spend our tax dollars on some bulldoodoo boondoggle that he believes will save the world. The pattern is already apparent from his actions in ttown. If he gets to Montgomery and gets the big check book watch out.
He's the direct beneficiary of a university having explosive growth because of their leadership (mainly because of Dr. Witt and his vision of recruiting out of state students) and Nick Saban being a badass. By all objective measures he sucks as a mayor. Well spoken, clean cut, but not a good mayor.

Honestly, what do you do when you don't like either candidate? I hoped I would never have to go through a moral dilemma of this magnitude again after the Moore/Jones situation.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

That's the great part about what I'm telling you, I don't have to know them and don't care to. If your a "Christian" and vote democrat, you're 1 of 2 things: 1. You know their policies and agree with them 2. You're dumb as phuck Democrats are EVERYTHING that Christians aren't. So when you align yourself with the democrats, you align yourself directly across the isle from conservative/christian beliefs. It's not hard to figure out. That's like being a PETA supporter but working at a slaughter house. You can't have it both ways. Done with this thread now Satan loves democrats

HaHaHa...Tried to delete my post, I'm never going to change anyone's line of thinking.
Satan, probably hates democrats as well
If you’re a common sense person, you probably don’t feel you have a home in this world right now. If you’re a Christian, you know you were never meant to.

He wants to act like he did something big for Tuscaloosa but imo its not the case at all. Auburn fans can boo if they want but the truth is, all of the growth in tuscaloosa is because of sabans success at the university. Walt didnt do it. Matter of fact he has hindered things.
They want to prop him up like he was this fearless leader after the tornado came through but the fact is he took full advantage of that disaster. More building codes came down on everybody and some peoples insurance didnt cover the cost of the new codes that were implemented. Businesses caught pure heck in this town trying to rebuild and meet all of the codes. Some took years to rebuild. All because he made it more difficult. In the meantime, the freeloaders in free homes and apartments had all of their new homes rebuilt before the dust settled good.
Him being a democrat is not why i wouldnt vote for him. Him making lives harder on the working man and making life easier for the freeloader is more than enough for me. I know a few people that know him. I think he may be a likeable guy but his way of thinking is completely against the grain for me. Unfortunately i think that he will pull in enough of the minorities to win the election. I can attest to the above, we build commercial kitchen hoods and the cost to put one in in Tuscaloosa pretty much doubled due to the enforcement of new codes, it is shutting the mom and pop's out of the restaurant biz, now you can argue that following the building codes is a good thing, I guess it is but when you have just had everything you own blown over into Georgia and you have to rebuild...... Plus if what I have heard about the eminent domain stuff he did is true then there is no way i would vote for him dem or repub....
The end of democracy and the defeat of the American revolution will occur when government falls into the hands of lending institutions and moneyed incorporation's Thomas Jefferson. 1812

There’s an example of the eminent domain at the McFarland/15th street intersection. That old boarded up gas station under the billboard at the southwest corner of the intersection. That thing might have been boarded up pre tornado

Until then, he has vowed to keep the grass cut and let it be an eyesore.

And the next spokesman with a big platform to push the lottery. I’m sure the revenue generated will be used wisely Plenty of places to use it wisely. Throw a dart against the wall and pick something that needs it
