Get you an Alaskan lumber mill and do it yourself.

I’ve got a good friend in Montgomery that has a lumber mill. His unit is portable so he can either come to you or you can take your timber to him.

Anybody ever had logs cut into boards. I have a bunch of cedar that I am considering to get cut into boards. Do yall know what the going cost would be? I can rip and / or cut up I just dont have a way to cut logs up. Any idea of where or who does this in central alabama. Thanks so much for info! I believe I know a guy in Monroeville with a portable saw for this type of work. Look up Woodworks by Brooks on facebook if you’re interested.

I had a portable saw mill back in the 90s. I would often cut cedar and cypress on halves, because I could make a profit selling the lumber. You might find someone willing to do that.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.
