Rough crowd there? Isn't that McD's only a block or so from Toomer's Corner?

ASU was in town. No surprise here.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

Rough crowd there? Isn't that McD's only a block or so from Toomer's Corner? Hoodrat crowd posts up in the parking lot late at night. ASU was in town. No surprise here. If I had to guess I honestly doubt ASU fans had anything to do with this but wouldn't rule it out. My guess is that suspect/s are from Opelika(good chance), Tuskegee(good chance) or maybe Valley. "A 20-year-old man from Tuskegee was found dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Four others were injured from the gunfire. Three of the injured victims were transported to East Alabama Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. They are a 17-year-old male from Opelika, a 19-year-old female from Opelika and a 21-year-old male Auburn University student from Hilton Head. A 16-year-old from Opelika was flown to Piedmont Columbus Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. "

Generally not rough. I spent many a night stopping in late night on the weekends. Auburn is not like Tuscaloosa. Drunk college kids mainly. What does Tuscaloosa have to do with this?
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

Let me just say I personally know that the police were warned earlier in the night that there was undoubtedly going to be trouble there. Unfortunately, they have to be cautious in responding because of the appearance of harassing a certain demographic group. They basically have to wait and respond after something goes down. No win situation. That's disturbing, most everyone on here probably had friends or family that could have been there. If Au police knew there was going to be trouble a presence could have prevented this from happening. damn political correctness, police the trouble areas.

No win situation. Yup. It's private property. The owner of that Mcdonalds does nothing to promote a no loitering policy. They need a security guard at that location from 2000-0400 or so.

Auburn is not like Tuscaloosa. Hate to tell you pal, there are thugs everywhere. Even in Auburn. Remember the apt shooting that took out a couple former AU players? Rapes on Tigerride and Rapes around campus? Any University town will bring the thug element, Auburn is no different.

This is the basic problem. The McD's almost seems to encourage it.

Last time i went to that McDonald the manager was cussing people at the drive thru somebody had 4 separate orders she told them they had to "MFing come inside for that many dam orders" then someone else inside after being asked why their order was taking so long was told she could give them a "dam refund" all the while she was talking to the employees like they were on the street corner I just turned around and left for waffle house. you would think being in a college town they could find decent employees. Its not just that McD’s, that situation is everywhere. I went into a McDonalds in Jasper and saw a young AA punk chew out an old white man because the old man couldn’t understand what the punk was saying. I actually called the owner of that McDonalds to let him know. His response was “well, thats the mentality of the young worker today, you just cant find good help”. I told the man, Seriously, that is your response? The whole world is going to hell...

Like I said, not shocking that it occurred there. What's more shocking is that it has taken this long for it to occur.

Auburn is not like Tuscaloosa. You're right. Auburn has had 3 or 4 players killed and another one shot near campus in the last 5 or 6 years. Alabama has had none in Tuscaloosa.

In that category, you're correct. I believe most people have the perception(whether true or false) is that Tuscaloosa is more dangerous of the two cities.
